Dear Father
I pray that you will
help us through the
hard stuff,
the raw emotion,
the disappointment,
the broken relationships,
broken promises,
broken hearts.
Please help us over the
rocky patches
through the fog,
when we cannot find
our way,
when we see no good
end to the struggle
give us faith.
Remind us dear Lord
that you are
there
in the middle,
in the mess,
that you are working
good things,
teaching us
faith,
trust,
hope.
Give us strength and resolve
to hang on to your
promises
in the waiting,
when all seems lost
remind us that
Sunday’s victory
is coming.
